The Belgian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association, in short BVA, was founded in 1986. The BVA is the professional association which includes the Belgian private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) community. 

The BVA includes 43 investment funds as full member as well as 32 associate members which are service providers to the PE/VC industry.  The BVA also has partnerships with Febelfin, VOKA and UWE.

EVCA represents, promotes and protects the long-term interests of the private equity and venture capital industry in Europe. Its goal is to create a more favourable environment for equity investment and entrepreneurship.
